"Magnanimous," by visionary artist and friend of Tyler Arboretum Victoria Lawrence, is an acrylic painting on 24" × 18" canvas, created en plein air at the 2026 Tyler Arboretum Spring Fireside event.
"Magnanimous" captures the peak moment of the magnolia's ephemeral glory. Her white and pink flowers seem to dance through the branches as if to celebrate the end of winter and welcome back the long awaited vibrance of spring.
